Description
The Scorch/Sublimation Tester is a precision laboratory instrument designed to determine the colorfastness and heat resistance of fabrics when exposed to dry heat, hot pressing, or sublimation. This test simulates the thermal conditions textiles experience during ironing, fusing, or heat transfer printing, helping manufacturers assess the stability of dyes, coatings, and finishes.
The tester features two or three independently controlled heated plates that maintain uniform temperature and pressure throughout the test. Fabric samples are placed between the plates and heated at a specified temperature and time, after which they are evaluated for color change, scorching, or sublimation effects.
Engineered for accuracy, repeatability, and user safety, the Scorch/Sublimation Tester includes digital temperature control, automatic timers, and heat-insulated handles for convenient operation. It conforms to international testing standards such as ISO 105-P01, ISO 105-X11, AATCC 92, and AATCC 133, ensuring reliable and globally accepted results.
Key Features:
-
Tests colorfastness to dry heat, hot pressing, and sublimation
